Role & Responsibilities
As Lead Engineer Electrical & Automation. You take ownership of the Industrial automation and control systems for production equipment. Based on the pilot installation close to Alkmaar our client is preparing the next generation production equipment. An industrial scaling team is currently set-up. As member of this team you will have a leading role in the realization of  the new production facility.
This is a full-time position, part time is also one of the options. And you will be reporting directly to the COO. You will have the opportunity to progress in this role and potentially specialize in a specific area as the company grows.
 
  • Specification, designing & engineering of new or modified electrical equipment, automation and control systems.
  • Evaluating of proposals by suppliers of hardware and software.
  • Arranging and supervising construction, installation and initial testing of installations.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including drawings, test reports and user manuals.
  • Conduct risk evaluations and assures that proper HSE procedures are executed.
  • Manage, participate in multidisciplinary (international) teams in industrialization projects.


Requirements

Also, for this role we require:

  • Relevant technical education at HBO level; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • Over 5 years working experience with engineering, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and automation systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, E-plan, or similar.
  • Experience with PLC’s, currently being of the brand Siemens.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledgeable on industry regulations and classification standards.
